Trustees

Gillian Marchand

Gillian was married to Peter for 38 years and so involved with Inn Christian Ministries from the very beginning. Originally trained as an English teacher, after having a break to look after their three sons she retrained as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired and was head of the VI unit at a local mainstream secondary school before she retired. She handles the finances and much of the administration for the charity.

David Hadlum

David has travelled to Uganda with Inn and hosted the Faith Mission Uganda Youth Team as our guests for the millennium celebration “Priestfield 2000″. He is Senior Pastor of Chatham Evangelical Church, an Assemblies of God Pentecostal Church nearby in Medway. Peter had close fellowship with Chatham Evangelical Church since 1980, the latter having supported him in prayer and finance throughout his ministry.

Edward Wright

Edward has been an anglican minister for over thirty years, having started out as a chartered surveyor. He was rector of St.Helens, Cliffe in Medway for many years, during which time he became involved with Churches Together in Medway, in which he still serves on the Executive, with particular responsibility for co-ordinating joint prayer. In March 2017, he was part of the team that set up Medway House of Prayer. He became acquainted with Peter in 1989 when they worked together hosting one of our Patrons, Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, for a 3 day Crusade in South East England, and since then worked with Peter on various large events in Medway. Beyond the towns, he has had involvement in the intercessory and reconciliation movements. He is married to Sarah, and they have five adult children, and four grandchildren. At present he has a part-time role as rector of St.George’s in Wrotham, near Sevenoaks: this gives him time to be involved with prayer, various initiatives and a number of Christian trusts in Medway.

James Sowah

James serves as a pastor at Kings Church Gillingham (formerly the VOICE) which he joined in 2006 and subsequently served on the pastoral team with Peter Marchand from 2008. He has a passion for the word of God and prayer and believes nobody or situation is beyond the realms of God. He is originally from Ghana and holds his home nation very dear to his heart. He is a pharmacist by profession and married to his lovely wife Sandra. He loves missions and travelling.

Sandra Sowah

Sandra is a principal pharmacist in charge of critical care and surgery at the Medway Maritime NHS Trust. She is one of the first international students who joined the VOICE in 2005 which was founded by Peter Marchand and together they established the Christian union at the Universities at Medway Campus where she served as the president. She is a passionate worshipper and loves music. She is originally from Ghana and married to James.  

Duncan Cawte

Duncan was born and raised in Medway, Kent, UK. He was converted to Christ as a teenager and partnered with Peter (then teaching at the school) in running the Christian Union at Chatham Grammar School for Boys from 1980 to 1983, during which time many young men came to Christ. He subsequently joined Peter in 1990 in leading Beulah CF, Gillingham where he was an elder for many years. He now fellowships with Hillsong Church in Tonbridge, Kent.

PARTNERS

Milton Ogwal oversees the Uganda office and work. He is one of the pastoral leadership team of the Victory Outreach Church in Lira. He has a wife, Irene, with three of their own children, and cares for numerous other members of his extended family, and orphans.

Kojo Kyeremetang was an active member and Elder of The VOICE, the church planted by Inn Christian Ministries in Gillingham, Kent, UK to cater for international students and workers moving into the area.  He subsequently married and returned to Ghana where he works for Newmont Ghana Gold Limited.  He is married to Akua, with two young daughters and a son.

Roberto Araujo became a friend of Peter when he was on a year’s course in UK training in evangelism and discipleship.  They remained in contact after he returned to Brazil, and hosted Peter on his mission trip to Brazil. Roberto currently resides in the UK.
